On Wednesday, September 27, 2023, the paper “ECHOES of the past: recreating lost soundscapes for a digital touring experience in the Old Town of Xanthi, Greece” was successfully presented in Vienna, at the “Life Narrative and the Digital 2023” conference, implemented in the context of the project “Echoes: Reconstructing the life of traditional settlements through interactive experiences and 3D sound“. The one day workshop of the Project “Mythological Routes in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace” (MIS 5047101) (MYTHOTOPIA) was successfully held in Komotini, in the hall of the Commercial and Industrial Chamber on 11/3/2023.
The Researchers of Athena RC, Dr. Despoina Tsiafaki and Natasa Michailidou will participate with a lecture in the online training program organised by the professor of DUTH Mr. Nikolaos Lianos, entitled «Heritage Education in the context of schools, museums and archaeological sites», June 14th-18th 2021, within the Erasmus+ project, «ReHeEd: Reframing Heritage Education”. The title of their presentation is “Communicating the Archaeological REsearch in the North Aegean to schools through the ARENA project”.
