On April 25, 2024, Despoina Tsiafaki, the Director of Research and Head of the Department of Culture and Creative Industries, will participate with the presentation “Pottery as a methodological tool for the study of colonization and human mobility” at the Scientific Conference BRIdgiNG LIFEways in Populations of Historic periods (BRING LIFE IN HISTORY): Reconstructing the way of life in the societies of historical periods through interdisciplinary approaches. The Conference will take place in AMPHITHEATRO III, in KE. D. E. A. A.U.Th. and is conducted within the framework of the research program BIOSOCIOPOLIS: The bioarchaeology of socio-political changes in Amphipolis, which is hosted at the Department of History and Archeology of the A.U.Th.
